The second Sex and the City movie will be hitting cinema screens May 28th 2010, it was confirmed today.

Whilst many are speculating about what will be in store for the four friends, Sarah Jessica Parker, aka Carrie, is keeping schtum: "In a million years I'm not going to give you an indication," joking, "I want someone to show up that first weekend."

Babies? Another marriage? Or even a death? We'll have to wait and see!

Wedding Fever

It’s been a weekend of marital commitment for three celebrity couples, with two marriages and an engagement.

First-up news broke that long-time couple Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart got engaged on Valentine’s Day last month, People.com have confirmed.

The website says that Ford, 66, asked the Alley McBeal star to marry him whilst they were holidaying with her adopted son, Liam.

The couple have been together for over seven years and have raised Liam together, as he was only a baby when Ford and Flockhart got together.

No wedding date has been yet.

Next up, Natasha Bedingfield wed her l

ong-time boyfriend on Saturday. The British singer married American businessman Matt Robinson in a vineyard estate in Malibu, California.

Through a statement, Bedingfield told USmagazine.com: "Our wedding day was everything we'd hope it would be. It was simple, beautiful and natural. Free from trappings or formalities, it was more about expressing our love for one another in front of those we hold dearest to us than anything else." Adding, "We are now very much looking forward to spending the rest of our lives together. Love is hard to find, so when you do find it, hang on to it!"

The Bride wore a strapless Vera Wang dress and H Stern jewellery, and walked down a grass aisle decorated with rose petals, over-looking the ocean.

The couple got engaged in 2008 after dating for dating for two years.

Bruce Willis also got hitched on Saturday, marrying girlfriend Emma Heming. The couple went to the Turks and Caicos islands in the Caribbean, Usmagazine.com reports.

Rumours started that the couple, who have been dating since last year, were going to wed last week, after rooms and villas were reserved near Willis’ home there. It is believed that the actor’s ex-wife Demi Moore and her new husband, Ashton Kutcher, were in attendance, as well as Madonna.

Jennifer Aniston & John Mayer: Off Again?

People.com is reporting that the couple of one year have called it quits, again. This comes as a surprise as John Mayer recently accompanied his girlfriend to the Oscars, where they seemed happier than ever.

The break-up apparently happened shortly after Aniston returned from Europe, where she was on a promotional tour for her new film, Marley & Me. According to People.com, "They had some disagreements and decided to not continue to see each other... Jen is moving on with her life like she always does. She seems happy." The website also adds that is was Mayer who ended the relationship.

The couple previously split in August last year, when Mayer made his infamous comments to paparazzi, saying: "I ended a relationship to be alone because I don't want to waste somebody's time if something's not right."

This recent news comes as Aniston made comments about her former husband Brad Pitt, telling Hello! magazine: "I will love Brad for the rest of my life - you can't take away good memories." Explaining, "I don't regret any of that time with Brad and I'm not here to beat myself up about it. They were seven very intense years together, and it was beautiful and complicated."

Reps for Aniston and Mayer had no comment but if history is anything to go by the musician will sooner or later make some kind of reference to the split.

Newlywed Gisele Bündchen looks fabulous on the cover of Harper's Bazaar, and the supermodel took the rare step of speaking about her love life.

About her new husband, she gushed, "Tom is a good guy. He has a very pure heart. He's very naive, almost like a child. That is my favorite quality about him. One thing that I thought was so amazing when I first met him is that he is innocent. He sees the world with [rose] colored glasses." Adding that, "He's very strong and focused in his job, but he's so sensitive. It's amazing."

And it's not just Brady she's a fan of, but also her stepson, 18-month-old John Edward Thomas: "He is so kind," she says. "He loves blueberries, and every now and then my dog, Vida, tries to get some food from him. He is so nice that he will give her the blueberries first. He is so cute and has such a sweet demeanor."

She must surely be the world's best step-mother!

They only got engaged last month but Mandy Moore has already married her musician beau, Ryan Adams. Reps for the couple have confirmed the marriage, which happened on Tuesday in Savannah, Georgia.

After their engagement was announced in February, Moore told the press that she hoped the wedding would "slip by unnoticed by everybody", adding "I guess we have to be sort of sneaky about it, but I'll see what I can accomplish."

The couple have been together for a year and Moore recently opened up to Marie Claire magazine about Ryan: "(He's) a good egg. I'm in awe of him - his brain, his passion. He's truly one of a kind."

Rihanna & Chris Brown: back together?

In a surprise twist in the Rihanna and Chris Brown saga, the couple have apparently reconciled and have been spotted looking happy in Miami. The news is being reported by many media outlets, including the reputable People.com and Usmagazine.com.

It is nearly three weeks since Brown allegedly beat Rihanna, which has lead to a Police investigation and media frenzy, which intensified when an image of Rihanna's beaten face was leaked on the Internet.

The pair have kept a low profile since the apparent attack, but have been seen spending time at a house near Miami, owned by Sean "Diddy" Combs. A source told Usmagazine.com that Brown was spotted smiling and riding a jet ski, and that Rihanna arrived a few days ago.

The couple are thought to have got back in touch after Brown called the singer on her 21st birthday, since then they have continued to speak on the phone. A friend of Rihanna's told Us that the couple could still have a future and that "It’s not easy to shut off a relationship she invested so much in.”

The Los Angeles Police is expected to make a decision soon on whether Brown will be formally charged for the alleged beating on February 8.

Since news broke of Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen's engagement, we've all been wanting a glimpse of the ring.

But after attending a string of New York fashion week events, Bilson didn't deliver the goods, showing up with either a ring-less finger or a covered up hand.

Now back on the west coast, the actress was spotted at her local supermarket, and I'm pleased to say there was a prominent new piece of jewellery on her left hand.

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden have announced that they're expecting baby number two.

The parents of one-year-old Harlow shared their news on Madden's Good Charlotte website. In a post titled 'Better than winning an OSCAR!' the proud dad wrote: "What's better than winning an Oscar? I am so happy to tell everyone that Harlow is going to be a big sister! God has truly blessed my family. Hope your all feeling as good as i am right now...".

There is no word on the due date, although it's expected Richie is past her first trimester, making a summertime birth likely.

The fashionista was recently spotted at New York fashion week, with a smiling Harlow continually stuck to her hip.

No doubt the new addition will be just as stylish as their big sister, with a trend-setting name to match.

Rihanna speaks

After two weeks of silence, and on the day of her 21st birthday, Rihanna has released a statement through her rep: "At the request of the authorities, Rihanna is not commenting about the incident involving Chris Brown," says the statement from her rep on Friday. "She wants to assure her fans that she remains strong, is doing well, and deeply appreciates the outpouring of support she has received during this difficult time."
The singer has been in hiding since Chris Brown was arrested on 8 February, but was spotted returning to Los Angeles on Thursday night. Rihanna wore sunglasses and looked solemn sat in the back of a car. Earlier that day, a Police picture of the star's battered face was leaked to the press, subsequently appearing on the Internet around the world. The image reportedly shows Rihanna's injuries after Chris Brown allegedly attacked her. The LA Police Department has launched an internal investigation to find out how this picture surfaced in the media.

John Mayer will be Jen Aniston's Oscar date

John Mayer has confirmed he will be attending next Sunday's Oscars, and he'll be going at Jennifer Aniston's date. The singer, who just returned from the Bahamas after a Valentine's getaway with his girlfriend, told popsugar.com: "It’s my first Oscars. And it’s my first being an Oscar boyfriend." Of course, also in attendance will be Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, who are both nominated for Academy awards, but it's unknown whether the couples will cross paths. Either way, the ceremony is sure to bring some great red carpet pics!

The couple, who met whilst filming Jumper together, are notoriously private about their personal lives, but People.com reports that they got engaged 'quietly' in December.

A friend told the website: "They're so excited. They're a great couple. Rachel seems thrilled beyond belief."

Bilson previously dated her OC co-star Adam Brody for several years, but the pair broke up in 2006.

In interviews when the topic of Christensen comes up, Bilson notoriously remains coy, although it has been noted on several occasions that the actress wears a necklace with the initial 'H'.

Kate Moss' pregnancy confirmed

After a week of intensified pregnancy rumours, the News of the World is 'confirming' that Kate Moss is expecting a child with her boyfriend Jamie Hince. According to the report the model is three months pregnant and the couple are expected to announce the news publicly imminently. Moss, who recently turned 35, already has a six-year-old daughter from a previous relationship with Jefferson Hack, and is apparently thrilled at the prospect of being a mum of two. Although at times her relationship with Hince seemed troubled, the pair have now been dating for over 18-months and seem stronger than ever. Watch this space...

Chris Brown speaks

After exactly a week of silence Chris Brown has finally spoken out about the allegations against him. Through a statement released to the press, the singer says:

"Words cannot begin to express how sorry and saddened I am over what transpired. I am seeking the counseling of my pastor, my mother and other loved ones and I am committed, with God's help, to emerging a better person. Much of what has been speculated or reported on blogs and/or reported in the media is wrong. While I would like to be able to talk about this more, until the legal issues are resolved, this is all I can say except that I have not written any messages or made any posts to Facebook, on blogs or any place else. Those posts or writings under my name are frauds."

This doesn't shed any light on exactly what happened between Brown and Rihanna, and obviously we won't know more until the Police investigation reports it's findings. But what is clear, however, is that the rumours reported in the media have got out of control.

Angelina Jolie has been promoting her new movie the Changeling

big time, and this week the Jolie-Pitt family landed in London. During a press conference about the film the actress likened her character Christine Collins to her own mother, who died of cancer last year. As she began to say that her mother's name was Marcheline but "everyone would call her marshmallow as a joke", Jolie welled-up and cursed "f**k" as she tried to compose herself. The mother of six continued her emotional tribute: "She was really sweet and was never angry... But when it came to her kids, she was really fierce and so this is very much her story." In reaction to her comments last week about wanting to fade- away from movies, Jolie said: "I’m not making some retirement announcement. I have a big family and a lot of responsibility at home, and I have the good fortune to financially not have to work all the time.. Maybe eventually I'll stop [acting]." And when a reporter asked, "Can we expect more children soon?" she replied, "Sure, you can!"

In a new interview with Allure magazine Scarlett Johansson addresses her feud with Lindsey Lohan, who famously wrote crude graffiti about Johansson in a New York toilet cubicle 2½ years ago. The new Mrs Reynolds explained her shock at the incident: "I really don’t know that person. I only met her, like, three times... I don’t know what

the motivation was behind that. I remember it was something really vulgar — I mean, shockingly so, like, 'Whoa, what, who are you?'". Johansson at least has the affection of singer Katy Perry, who penned her track 'I kissed a girl' about the actress' lips: "That's flattering, but my lips are kind of taken." But when asked how the newlywed met Ryan Reynolds she remained coy, saying "Nobody knows. It's private. It's our story."

Over the weekend the Internet was abuzz with rumours that Ashlee and Pete Wentz had welcomed their first child, but the husky-voiced singer is still very much pregnant and according to sister Jessica Simpson, she may need to be induced: "They're going to have to. It's already developing really quick", she told The Ellen DeGeneres Show. The older Simpson added that Ashlee has been trying various things to encourage labour: "Different foot massages and stuff... I think she's really just jumping around trying everything right now." Good luck to the parents-to-be!

Easily the biggest news of the day is some quotes coming from Jennifer Aniston's interview in the December issue of Vogue magazine. Although only snippets of the feature have come out so far, it is definitely an honest and intimate interview with the actress. Aniston gave her thoughts on a recent interview Angelina Jolie did, when she admitted falling in love with Brad Pitt on the set of Mr and Mrs Smith, whilst he was still very much married: "There was stuff printed there that was definitely from a time when I was unaware that it was happening... I felt those details were a little inappropriate to discuss." Aniston goes onto say: "That stuff about how she couldn’t wait to get to work every day? That was really uncool." But the 39-year-old insists that she and Pitt are not at war and have spoken since splitting: "A few very kind hellos ... and congratulations on your babies," adding that they "had an amicable split ... The marriage didn't work out." Meanwhile Aniston is clearly annoyed by the comments about her current relationship with John Mayer: "People need to mind their own business! Did you ever think Claudia Schiffer and David Copperfield made sense?..Love just shows up." And in regards to Mayer's infamous speech after their brief break-up over the summer: "Trust me, you’ll never see that happen again from that man."

This sounds like a great interview and I'll do another post when the magazine is published. On another note it has annoyed me that various media outlets have gone down the route of 'Jen's not over Brad...' and I'd like to raise the point that Angelina Jolie has spoken about her relationship with Pitt and Aniston countless times and its refreshing to see Aniston reply with maturity and honesty. And to those critics who say she hasn't moved on, Aniston has a message: "This whole 'Poor lonely Jen' thing, this idea that I'm so unlucky in love? I actually feel I've been unbelievably lucky in love."

In other news...

Sienna Miller was criticised pretty heavily for getting involved with married Balthazar Getty, and now it seems it wasn't worth it as the romance has already burnt out. Miller broke the news of the break-up herself, by telling reporters at an event in London: "I'm single at the moment, and I’m completely happy with that." She added: "It's nice not to have a relationship that the press constantly want to scrutinise and discuss. I'm cool with being on my own." I have a feeling that she won't be able to shake-off the negative opinions of her that easily...

Nicole Kidman won the Glamour Women of the Year Award in New York this week, and in her acceptance speech she paid a moving tribute to her husband: "Three and a half years ago a man came along and said, 'I'm going to take you to Tennessee.' And he took me down there and he said, 'I think you deserved to be loved. Let me love you, let me give you a home, and let's make a baby.' So thank you, Keith Lionel." (Urban's middle name!) Ahhhh...

Evan Rachel Wood and Marilyn Manson have split: "Manson and I both decided to take some time apart so we could concentrate on work," Wood said in a statement. Continuing: "Manson has been by my side and taken care of me through the best and worst times. I love him as a person and as an artist. I will always be proud to have been a part of that." The couple famously got together whilst Manson was still married to Dita Von Teese.

There might be a Sex and the City film sequel: After Kim Cattrall appeared on a British TV show and announced "Yes, there will [be another movie] ...we will do the sequel next summer" women everywhere rejoiced. But SJP has hit the pause button, saying: "I'm thrilled to know Kim is excited but all the deals are not yet done." Parker added: "With the wind on our heels, we hope to make it a reality." Fingers crossed!

X Factor Judge Simon Cowell has split from his longtime girlfriend Terri Seymour. The couple were together for six years but never married: its thought that Seymour's desire for children was behind the break-up. Max Clifford, Cowell's rep, confirmed the news saying: "Terri phoned Simon and finished it in September, about six weeks ago... Simon thinks the world of Terri and that isn't going to change. He understands her reason for ending it."

In a surprise move Victoria Beckham has followed in her husband's footsteps to be the face of Emporio Armani underwear. The modest Spice girl has regularly talked-down her figure but she will be stripping off for Armani's Spring/Summer 2009 ad campaign. "It’s a huge compliment being asked to be in the campaign... It’s really exciting to me. Mr. Armani is a lovely person and his team is fantastic, so it’s a really exciting project for me to be involved with", the singer-turned-designer said. But Beckham admits she's been working hard to get her body lookingtip-top: "I started running regularly about a year ago and when this campaign came about, I began working harder every day".

Joaquin Phoenix has shocked the acting community by announcing his plans to retire at the age of 34! At a Paul Newman benefit Phoenix announced his surprise decision: "I'm not doing films anymore... I'm working on my music (instead)". The Oscar nominee has been working on an album with The Charlatans, but gave no details on when we can expect to hear his music. His pretty face will be sorely missed on the big screen that's for sure.

Ashlee and Pete Wentz will become first-time parents any day now, and the father-to-be is on standby. "She is very pregnant," the Fall Out Boy bassist told U.S a radio show, "I am on call permanently right now. She's at the very end, and it could happen at any point." And he added that his wife feels ready to give birth: "I think she wants to just be not pregnant anymore ... It's a struggle to go up and down the stairs. Going out in public is insane." Madonna and Guy Ritchie have confirmed that they are to divorce. Their rep told People.com that "the main concern (is) their children... That's the priority for both of them moving forward. It's a sad situation." After months of worldwide speculation there was no surprise at the couple's announcement, although in recent weeks they had put on a united front. A rep said that the couple, who have a combined wealth of over £300 million, have not agreed to a settlement. The question now is whether the divorce will be civilised, but Madonna seems to have set the tone already: on tour in Boston she dedicated her song 'Miles Away' to the "emotionally retarded... You may know a few people like that," she said. "God knows I do." Meanwhile US Weekly is saying that Madge and Alex 'A-Rod' Rodriguez, who was the reason for break-up rumours over the summer, "are definitely romantic." Phew...that's a lot of information to take in, but I'm sure we haven't heard the last of it.

It's another Hollywood split for David Duchovny, who recently left rehab for sex addiction, and wife of 11 years Téa Leoni. A statement confirmed the break-up: "In light of continuous speculation over the lives and marriage of Tea Leoni and David Duchovny, the couple has confirmed that they have in fact been separated for several months. The couple had hoped to keep this separation private for the sake of their children." The news that they have been separated for a while comes as a surprise as earlier this month, following Duchovny's release from rehab, the pair were spotted looking happy strolling through New York. The Daily Mail is reporting that Duchovny found 'explicit text messages' on his wife's mobile phone from Billy Bob Thornton, Angelina Jolie's ex-husband. A rep said that Leoni is living on her own with the couple's children in New York.

It seems as though Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer are indeed back on! Both People and US Weekly are reporting the couple have rekindled their romance and they have continued to have dates around Los Angeles. A source told US: "They looked like they had the best time. They were holding hands at one point and seemed very much back on... She seemed extremely happy to be back with him." The couple broke-up in August after four months of dating.

They've been a rumoured couple for months but now there's no denying that Michelle Williams and Spike Jonze are an item. People.com is reporting that at an event in New York this week, Jonze was caressing Williams' back and wrapping his arm around her waist. The couple continued to hold hands throughout the night and an onlooker said: "He couldn't seem to keep his hands off her. It was very cute." Williams, 28, met the director in 2006 and the pair reconnected last year.

After all that, if you feel you need your faith in love restored then look no further than Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal. The actress is in this month's Vogue and she's been gushing about her handsome beau: "He's very supportive... There are rumblings that Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer have rekindled their romance. According to the National Enquirer the former couple were spotted kissing in Los Angeles this week after arriving together on a private plane. The tabloid is saying that they 'met up in Manhattan recently and looked like lovers when they came back to California together. “They were very lovey-dovey,” said an insider. “They kissed several times and hugged each other tightly." We'll have to wait and see whether there's any truth in this latest twist in Jen's love life...

They've been married for four years and over the weekend Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony renewed their wedding vows in Las Vegas. After a night of dinner and gambling the couple had the ceremony performed at around 3am on Sunday morning. A source told US Magazine: "It was very intimate and sweet. They both talked about how much they love each other. The word 'forever' was used a lot!" The couple had the ceremony performed in a newly refurbished suite at Caesars Palace and according to People.com: "It was totally a spur of the moment thing. Angelina Jolie's much anticipated W magazine interview and photo spread has arrived, and it doesn't disappoint. This feature is particularly special for one reason: Brad Pitt turned photographer for the day and produced the intimate collection of black and white pictures. “I love his photography,” Jolie says in the interview, “ he’s very critical of his own work. I’ll see a photograph and think it’s amazing, but he’ll see all the different reasons why it can be better, and he’ll work very, very hard to improve it.” The actress and mother-of-six says that she and Pitt struggle for time alone, especially as their bedroom is the children's favourite place: “They’ve just taken over in there—especially right now, because we want them to feel that the babies aren’t special in the room. So our door is much more like a swinging door.” But she does add that “The kids do knock before entering. We’ve at least got that part down. Because Mommy and Daddy need some space.”

In a new interview with ELLE, Vanessa Paradis has spoken about love and life with Johnny Depp. The couple have chosen not to walk down the aisle, and Paradis addressed the rumours: "Each summer people say we're supposed to be getting married, but we don't talk about it that much. It's been a week of honesty as celebs open up and dish the dirt on love, happiness and botox! Read on to find out who said what and for the rest of the week's showbiz news - enjoy!

First up is the always gorgeous Courtney Cox, who features in this month's Marie Claire. The 44-year-old admitted that she's dabbled in cosmetic procedures to fight wrinkles: "Botox? I think it's fantastic and also horrible," she told the U.S addition of the magazine. "I mean, they've come up with this stuff that can make you not look angry." But the actress said it wasn't for her: "I went to this doctor once and he was like, 'Oh, let me do it just here and here and here.' And I was miserable. I mean, I'm an actor, I've got to be able to move my face. When people start messing with their foreheads and can't lift their eyebrows, that's weird... I hated it." Luckily David Arquette, Cox's husband of nine-years, is all for the natural look: "He loves the aging process. He thinks it's beautiful, so I'm under pressure to not do anything." The couple have had their fair share of rumours questioning their marriage, but things seem better than ever: "It's weird, because I'm so in love with David right now. I'm starting to really appreciate how 'there' he is for me."

Most celebs like to keep tight-lipped when it comes to romance, but Beyonce and Jay-Z are surely the most secretive couple their is! The pair have been dating since 2002 and their marriage earlier this year has never been confirmed, until now. Beyonce has finally spoken about their relationship and why the two prefer to keep it private: "What Jay and I have is real. It's not about interviews or getting the right photo op. It's real." The 27-year-old also told Essence magazine that she didn't want an engagement ring: "People put too much emphasis on that. It's just material and it's just silly to me." As for the wedding, Beyonce said she wanted something small and intimate because "It's been my day so many days already," but she always knew they'd get married: "We've been together a long time. We always knew it would happen."

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden have opened up to People about life with nine-month-old baby Harlow. Nicole has taken to being a Mum so well that she 'purees her own green beans and records her daughter's every smile in a journal'. The fashion icon describes Harlow as a 'delicate soul': "She studies people. She's very coy. People say that she and I make the same expressions. But everyone says she looks like Joel." The Good Charlotte star is nothing but impressed with his girlfriend's maternal skills: "Nicole is completely dedicated. I do whatever she tells me to do. I'm cool with that. She's really good with the baby. I'm really good with finances. All of Harlow's education and all that stuff, I already have planned." And as for walking down the aisle Nicole says that when they get married "everyone will know. It will happen when it happens."

Travis Barker spoke to US Weekly about surviving the September 19th plane crash that claimed four lives. Barker admitted he already had a fear of planes: "My biggest fear ever is to be involved in a plane crash, so when that happened ... well, I'm just thankful to be alive! I'm just grateful to be here at all." The ex-Blink 182 star is now being treated at a burns unit in Los Angeles and spoke about his injuries: "I've just been in surgery after surgery. I have third degree burns basically from my feet up to my waist and both hands." But what's hardest for the drummer is not being with his children: "I'm going nuts not being able to see them and spend time with them!" Barker hopes to be home in two weeks.

I always try to do a weekend round-up to start Monday with the best selection of news, but this post is slightly different for the simple reason that this weekend was all about Brad and Angelina!

The couple had there first post-twins appearance together and the whole world was waiting for a glimpse. The recent speculation of post-natal depression and rowing only intensified attention on Angie's premiere of The Challenging. The pair put on a united front and Ange spilled the beans on being a mother of six. Check out below for a selection of the best photos and quotes from the weekend.

I've scoured the Internet and magazines for the best of this week's entertainment news, so you just have to get comfy and enjoy...

On Thursday Brad, Angelina and their brood of six landed in New York. This was big news as its the first time Ange has been spotted in public since the birth of the twins and rumors of both post-natal depression and tension between the couple. Its understood the family are in town for the New York Film Festival where Ange will premiere her movie The Changeling, directed by Clint Eastwood. The family had only recently moved into a luxury residence near Berlin, as Brad will be filming Tarantino's new movie there throughout autumn.

Earlier this week the media was buzzing with news that the Judge involved in Sharon Stone's custody dispute branded the actress an overreacting parent. The reason being the mum-of-three recommended her son Roan, with ex-husband Phil Bronstein, have botox in his feet to help an odor problem. But Sharon's attorney quickly made a statement denying this ever happened: "Sharon Stone never made this statement. It is a complete fabrication". This comes after the Basic Instinct star lost a custody hearing trying to change her son's school to nearer the Los Angeles area. The judge said the child was in a more stable environment with his father in San Francisco.

Anne Hathaway appeared on David Letterman's Late Show and couldn't avoid questions about her ex-boyfriend Raffaello Follieri, who is in prison awaiting trial for fraud. "Did you have any hints that there was a problem?" Letterman asked her. "I don't want to go into the specifics," said Hathaway, who is promoting her film Rachel Getting Married, "but I will say that you do have to give me credit because as far as relationships crashing and burning goes, c'mon, I did pretty great. I mean, scorched that earth!" The actress did a good job of keeping her cool, even when the talk show host asked if anything had ever gone missing from her purse during the four-year relationship.

Jennifer Aniston must be used to having her love life speculated about but the usually private actress is defending herself about some certain media gossip. There have been suggestions that Jen uses her romantic relationships to further her career, and she's not happy about it: “It’s been incorrectly alleged that I’d abuse a romantic attachment as a publicity stunt. That’s below the belt. It was a reasonable quiet weekend in the world of entertainment news but a couple of stories are definitely worthy of a post! Sit back, relax and catch-up...

Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds got married on Saturday after a four month engagement.

In the weeks leading up to their wedding Scarlett didn't give away any clues about her upcoming nuptials: in recent interviews she spoke about enjoying the engagement and having no immediate wedding plans. The couple said 'I do' at a remote wilderness resort near Vancouver, in Ryan's native Canada. Only a small number of guests were invited, mainly close friends and family. The marriage has been confirmed by the actors' reps but not much detail is known about the ceremony. Scarlett, 23, and Ryan, 31, began dating in Spring 2007 and announced their engagement on May 5 this year. Both have been in high-profile relationships before: Scarlett used to date actor Jost Hartnett and Ryan was once engaged to singer Alanis Morissette.

Heather Locklear was arrested on Saturday for driving under the influence. A California Highway Patrol spokesman told People:"A female witness saw Heather Locklear driving erratically while leaving a parking lot... The witness said Locklear was revving her engine loudly, and backed over a pair of sunglasses several times." The actress was later found by police "seated inside her vehicle, which was partially blocking the roadway." It is thought that Heather, 47, was under the influence of prescribed medication. Two months ago she left a rehab centre in Arizona after battling anxiety and depression.

Paul Newman past away over the weekend. He was 83 years old and

had been fighting a long battle with cancer. The actor was famed for his blue eyes and was nominated for an Oscar ten times. In a touching tribute his daughters wrote that "He will be profoundly missed by those whose lives he touched, but he leaves us with extraordinary inspiration to draw upon".

Heath Ledger's family have announced that the actor's entire estate will be left to his daughter, Matilda Rose. The Dark Knight star died last January due to an accidental overdose and his will, which was written before the birth of his daughter, left his fortune to his parents. Heath's father Kim told Australia's Sunday Times: "There was never any question about the fact that Heath's estate would go to Matilda."

Dennis Quaid has hit back at ex-wife Meg Ryan for discussing their marriage and his affairs. The actor has told New York's Daily News, "It was eight years ago, and I find it unbelievable that Meg continues publicly to rehash and rewrite the story of our relationship".

Last week Angelina's rep took the unusual step of acknowledging internet split rumours by saying they were "absolutely not true". According to the story Ange told Brad they were over: ' She said she didn't want to be with him any more and she wanted to split'. Souces have told Star that 'Angie is volatile right now... She's barely eating and she feels stuck at home amid total chaos with six kids. And to make matter worse, she's nagging Brad to the point that he uses any excuse to take off.' Even the Daily Mail has been reporting that 'sources say the relationship between the couple is at breaking point'.

The couple have just moved to a luxury villa near Berlin, the German capital, and are expected to remain there whilst Brad films the new Tarantino movie. Only time will tell whether there's any truth to these split talk though...

Brad and Angelina are on the move! The mega-star couple and their six children have left their beautiful chateau in France to set-up home in Germany. According to People magazine the family are staying in a villa south of Berlin and are expected to stay there throughout Autumn whilst Brad films Tarantino's new movie Inglorious Bastards.

Lindsay Lohan has at last acknowledged her romantic relationship with Samantha Ronson, and says the two have been together "a very long time". The confirmation came during a radio interview talking about the recent plane crash involving Travis Barker and DJ AM. Of the incident the 22-year-old said: "AM has been a great friend to me and he's such a good guy and Travis a great guy as well and an amazing father... It was all really scary." It's thought that Lindsay and 31-year-old Samantha have been dating since the beginning of the year.

After a sudden split from Justin Long, Drew Barrymore has moved on and been spotted in the arms of a much younger man. According to US magazine 33-year-old Drew was seen making out with 21-year-old Gossip Girl actor, Ed Westwick. The pair have been spotted out in public twice, both times at Kings of Leon gigs.

Nadine Coyle has opened up about her relationship with Jesse Metcalfe. The Girls Aloud singer split from the Desperate Housewives actor last year and has spoken about her regret: "He had a horrible time going to rehab and it was all too much for me. This week celebs have been opening up and straightening things out, and what better way than using there own mouth rather than getting their voice-piece publicists to do the talking.

First up Victoria Beckham has been talking about having another baby. In the past the mum-of-three has said that she'd love a little girl and as youngest son Cruz will be turning four in a few months, surely it's time for another one? Well apparently not: "I'm not even trying to get pregnant at the moment", Victoria told The Sun. "I don't want another baby for two years because I'm working so hard on my fashion business. I haven't got time...we would like another child but it won't be for a couple of years yet." Well there you have it, although that probably won't put a stop pregnancy rumours.

After an eight-year silence Meg Ryan is finally talking about her affair with Russell Crowe and subsequent divorce from Dennis Quaid. Meg has told InStyle magazine that she wasn't the only one who was unfaithful: "Dennis was not faithful to me for a very long time, and that was very painful." Her affair with Russell occurred after filming Proof of Life together, but she insists that didn't end her marriage: "Russell didn’t break up the marriage. He was definitely there at the end, but it wasn’t his fault. I was a mess. I hurt him too at the end. I couldn’t be in another long relationship, it wasn’t the time for that. So I got out." Meg has remained single but three years ago she adopted a little girl from China, which clearly gives her much happiness: "Daisy is brilliant. This kid says things every day that make you just stop and stare at her."

Heidi Klum has revealed that a tattoo on her arm which was the subject of recent media attention is in fact, not that new. Talking about her May inking the model and mum-of-three said: "My husband and I always get married every year. It was our fourth wedding, and we wanted to have our names tattooed together. So it's my husband's name and our three children, their initials, in the stars."

News that Daisy Lowe and Mark Ronson had ended there six-month relationship came a bit out of the blue, but the 19-year-old's mum has told Hello magazine that there wasn't another person involved and that the pair are (yawn) still friends. Pearl Lowe said: "They decided things weren't working out so they called it a day. It was a sad but mature decision but they've decided to stay close friends."

Jennifer Lopez spent Sunday completing the Nautica Malibu Triathlon in 2 hours and 23 minutes. Later that night she threw hubby Marc Anthony a 40th birthday party, not bad for mum of 7-month-old twins! Ultra fit Matthew McConaughey, Jennifer's Wedding Planner co-star, finished the event in 1 and 1/2 hours, with girlfriend Camilla and baby Levi watching on.

Mark Ronson and Daisy Lowe have called it quits after six months together. The couple went to numerous public events together, including the very recent GQ awards, but ended their relationship last week. Mark recently celebrated his 33rd birthday and 19-year-old Daisy is currently on the catwalk for London Fashion Week.

Lindsay Lohan isn't a fan of Sarah Palin and she's used her blog to share her opinions: "Is our country so divided that the Republicans best hope is a narrow minded, media obsessed homophobe?", she writes. At the end of Lindsay's political message, girlfriend Samantha Ronson chimes in: "Vote for obama!.. Mainly because if she gets elected my green card probably won't get renewed!!!"

Sienna's pap troubles

It's fair to say that sometimes Sienna Miller really doesn't help herself, but the paparazzi are particularly ruthless with this young actress. Photographers behaviour has become worse ever since Sienna and her married-boyfriend Balthazar Getty were pictured on holiday, mostly naked and frolicking on the beach. But in the weeks since she has been surrounded at an American petrol station, needed a police escort home in L.A and had paps shouting constant insults such as 'homewrecker'.
Sky Showbiz website has seen enough and has launched a 'Save Sienna Campaign', saying that the "increasingly aggressive behaviour we've witnessed towards Sienna over the past few weeks is simply not on...no human being deserves to be treated like this". The site is "refusing to publish any pap material featuring Sienna - until the photographers bothering her decide to clean up their act", but readers aren't quite as sympathetic: an online poll shows that only 57% feel sorry for her, whilst 43% voted that Sienna deserves the paparazzi bothering her.

she told a particularly rude and hurtful pap that she was "gathering lots of nice evidence against what you guys do because its highly illegal". Mid-week madness

Anne Hathaway has kept a dignified silence concerning her ex-boyfriend's troubles with the law, but she's now spoken about the difficult time involving Raffaello Follieri's arrest for charges of wire fraud and money laundering. "As soon as I found out about the arrest, I had to get on a plane to Mexico to do a press tour for Get Smart," she tells October's issue of W magazine, "And then I spent a week in shock at a friend's house."

Follieri is still in prison, unable to pay his $21 million bail, Vanity Fair recently reported that Anne broke off the relationship hours before his arrest, telling him "you were the love of my life".

During promotional events for Get Smart Anne's co-star, Steve Carell, stepped in during some awkward questioning. Referring to the incident she tells W: "He said, 'At some point you're going to have to talk about this time in your life. You don't have to do it this week. I'll take care of anything that comes your way.'"

For now 25-year-old says she needs "to be me for a little bit." It's expected that Raffaello will make a deal this week to spend five year in prison.

Josh Hartnett is suing the Daily Mirror for alleging the actor was filmed having sex in a public part of a top London hotel. The 30-year-old's lawyer has said that the allegations are "not only untrue but a complete fabrication", and that they had been "defamatory and unsubstantiated". As well as seeking damages the 'Lucky Number Slevin' star wants a public apology printed in the paper. Josh is currently starring in a theatre production of Rain Man in the capital.

One of the strangest rumours doing the rounds recently was Pamela Anderson hooking up with Michael Jackson. Well Pam put an end to it when she appeared on Ellen Degeneres talkshow. "He just wants me to be in a video...My life is so interesting. My life is a blur," she told the newlywed host. When Ellen pressed the former Baywatch star for more she replied: "It happens ... skin cancer and Vicodin. I don’t know ... I have a lot of interesting friends," a statement that has left many people baffled.As for her love-life Pamela said she is still shacked up with ex-husband, and father of her two sons, Tommy Lee, but said she wasn't 'getting any'.

Usher and wife Tameka Foster are expecting their second child together. The new arrival will join 10-month-old Usher Raymond V.

Supermodel Naomi Campbell has come forward saying that an operation she had earlier this year to remove a cyst was actually for fertility reasons, she said: "I was not able to have children up until March. Now it's in God's hands. I would love to have a family."

The stars of Step Up became engaged over the weekend. Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan have been dating since meeting on the set of the 2006 movie but have remained shy about their relationship, regardless of attending many public events together. According to People 28 year-old Channing asked Jenna to marry him in 'Maui in front of close friends invited under the radar to surprise her'.

Sunday night's MTV Video Music Awards was a memorable occasion, for right and wrong reasons. Britney Spears had a great night: the singer proved she's back to her best by looking fantastic and going home with three gongs, all for her 'Piece of Me' video.

After Britney the most talked about was the evening's host, Brit comedian Russell Brand. The funny man pushed some buttons with his sense of humour, in particular by poking fun at the Jonas Brothers' promise rings, for which he later had to apologise. American Idol singer Jordin Sparks had her say on the matter whilst presenting an award: "I just want to say, it's not bad to wear a promise ring, because not everyone, guy or girl, wants to be a slut".

It feels like she's been pregnant forever but Minnie Driver has finally given birth. The actress' rep told People that Henry Story Driver was born last Friday in Los Angeles and weighed a whopping 9 lbs 12 oz. Minnie has shrouded the father's identity in mystery saying: "He's going to be a dad so yeah he's going to be there for the kid". The 38 year-old added: "I'm not getting married to this person and I don't know what's going to happen but everyone is cool about the situation." This is the first baby for Minnie, who once famously dated Matt Damon.

Jennifer Aniston sure isn't as down as people like to make out. The 39 year-old actress, at the Toronto International Film Festival for her new movie Management, said that "things couldn't be better," adding that she's "busy, but it's great". Jennifer, who recently split from John Mayer, was dressed to impressed in a low-cut Balenciaga black dress and told reporter that she finds her inner strength from "waking up everyday". Meanwhile her ex-husband, Brad Pitt, is also in town for his film Burn After Reading. The father of six said that "everyone is healthy," referring to eight-week-old twins Knox and Vivienne, adding that there's "no sleep though...Sleep is something you long for, but it's alright. We'll get it."

There have been rumours that Jennifer and Brad have had dinner together in the Canadian city, whilst other sources have said that they are staying in hotels two miles apart and plans have been made so that there is no chance of them bumping into each other.

In other Brangelina news multiple sources have been reporting that Angelina is suffering with post-natal depression. The actress hasn't been seen in public since the twins' birth but I have a feeling that if she was unwell Brad wouldn't have gone off around the world promoting a film.

Natasha Bedingfield is engaged to her business boyfriend, Matthew Robinson. The 26-year-old announced the news during New York fashion week, saying 'It just happened...But I am so excited, and it happened in New York. And I want to share it with the world.'

Kerry Katona may have been a bridesmaid at Katie Price's wedding but it's fair to say that their friendship is well and truly over as the two continue a public slagging match. Latest to speak out is Katie, aka Jordan, who's brought up Kerry's money problems: "She's been saying some really bitter things about me lately. But if I want to buy my daughter 100 pairs of shoes, I will... I'd rather do that than buy a fleet of sports cars trying to make out I've got money then go bankrupt. At least they're paid for and not on HP." Ouch. It's only a matter of time before Kerry hits back.
The businesswomen, whose brought out her own line of equestrian clothing, has even had a dig at Jade Goody, who has been diagnosed with cervical cancer. Katie's dug up the whole racist issue from jade's celebrity Big Brother appearance: "There has to be an awareness that that sort of cancer can happen to anyone but I saw her on Celebrity Big Brother and thought she was a racist. She didn't give people sympathy when she was on the show." Mmm, I sense a backlash from these comments...

Lily Allen and Elton John have been in the news this week over a few bitchy comments they said to each other on stage at the GQ awards. Whilst presenting together Elton made a comment about Lily's drinking and she replied with "F**k off Elton! I'm 40 years younger than you, I've got my whole life ahead of me". But the legendary singer wasn't going to leave it at that, replying "I could still snort you under the table". It's thought that Elton had become increasingly annoyed at his co-presenters drinking and slurred speech. Lily apparently annoyed someone else at the ceremony, her brother's girlfriend Jamie Winestone. As the actress went up

Matt Damon is now completely outnumbered after his wife gave birth to a baby girl. The new arrival has been named Gia Zavala and joins two-year-old Isabella and half sister Alexia, aged 10. Matt's rep said "Everyone is great, she's healthy and beautiful." Matt has said he'll take the rest of the year off to spend time with his wife Luciana and their three girls.

For those waiting for the official word, wait no more - Jen Garner has finally confirmed her pregnancy. Whilst at an LA event a reporter asked Jennifer about any upcoming projects, her response? Pointing to her belly and replying 'this'! The actress later told Access Hollywood: "We're so excited, obviously", then joked "Oh, I'm not pregnant. I just had a lot of carbs for breakfast. It's just — what do they call it — a breakfast pouch?" This will be baby number two for Jennifer and husband Ben Affleck, who already have daughter Violet.

Probably the most unexpected news this week is that Ricky Martin is the father of twin boys...who were born by surrogate mother. A statement from the singer's rep read: "The children, delivered via gestational surrogacy, are healthy and already under Ricky's full-time care. Ricky is elated to begin this new chapter in his life as a parent and will be spending the remainder of the year out of the public spotlight in order to spend time with his children." This news has increased speculation about Ricky's sexuality, who has never confirmed or denied such rumours.

Speculation on whether Eva Longoria Parker is expecting have heightened this week with the actress wearing baggy clothes and the spotting of a potential baby bump. Just recently Desperate Housewives' creator Marc Cherry told US Weekly of the actress' baby plans: "Eva is desperately trying to get pregnant with Tony Parker," adding "After they phone their doctor, she promised me I will be the next call".

Former S Club 7 singer Rachel Stevens is tipped to star in this year's Strictly Come Dancing. Rachel, whose career hasn't done brilliantly since the band split, could join footballer Teddy Sherringham and George Clooney's ex, Lisa Snowdon. The dancing show will be on BBC1 from next months.

My Favourite news of the week: The Notebook lovers are back on! Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams have been spotted canoodling in Canada, several publications have confirmed. The pair began their romance after the movie wrapped in 2004 but suddenly parted ways last year. On the split Ryan told GQ magazine that "The only thing I remember is we both went down swingin' and we called it a draw." The couple won an MTV award for best kiss in The Notebook and famously recreated it for their acceptance speech.

The couple had been dating for three months and were soon taking their children out together and even having dinner with Kate's ex-husband! A source told to reliable magazine that "there was no drama or ugliness – they just decided to end things. "There is no hatred, just sadness." This doesn't help Kate's reputation as a serial dater...

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's new baby twins were the result of IVF. According to USmagazine Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline were not conceived naturally because the couple wanted to quickly add to their brood. “They conceived through in vitro fertilization,” a source told US. “They both desperately wanted more babies soon.” Their decision was apparently because IVF raises the chances of twins from 1% to 25%. The source added: “[Angie did it so] she wouldn’t have to deal with the stress of trying to get pregnant. She could just knock it out.”
In other Brangelina news People magazine has reportedly made the winning big for exclusive photos of the babies. The amount is between $10-$15 million which the couple will donate to charity. People also had the first pictures of baby Shiloh.

Shia LaBeouf was not to blame for the crash which left his SUV upside-down. According to the Sheriff's spokesperson: "The other car ran a red light. "They will now be listed as Party One on the report, indicating they were at fault." Shia was arrested for misdemeanour DUI and those charges remain. The actor's rep said he is "currently recovering from extensive hand surgery with plans to return to work on the set of Transformers 2 within one month."

Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O'Connell have announced they're expecting twins. People magazine is already reporting that the babies are both girls. The couple married in July 2007 and will welcome they're babies this winter.

Balthazar Getty has finally addressed the state of his marriage after he was pictured with a barely-dressed Sienna Miller in Italy last week. The Brothers and Sisters actor released a statement saying: "In light of the fact that many pictures have surfaced in print and on the Internet which has caused myself and my family great embarrassment, I felt it necessary to at least acknowledge publicly that yes indeed my wife and I have separated and I will not be commenting any further." Embarrassed? I should think so. Sienna is now back in London, looking rather sheepish it must be said.
However, a source close to Balthazar's wife, Rosetta, has told PerezHilton.com that the actor "was 100% NOT separated from her when he started dating Sienna," adding that "Rosetta is heartbroken. She has an 8 month old baby and three other kids with Balthazar." Dear oh dear.

Word that Kate Moss and Jamie Hince had gone their separate ways is apparently unfounded as the two were spotted hand-in-hand in London yesterday. Jamie, who's in the band The Kills, was seen moving his stuff out of Kate's house at the start of this month, sparking rumours the couple of nearly a year had split. The pair shopped in Selfridges and looked happy as they walked down Oxford Street. Maybe he's the one for Kate?...

Amy Winehouse's husband has been sentenced to 27 months in prison, but because of the time he's already spent in jail he'll likely be out around Christmas time. Blake Fielder-Civil was sentenced for assaulting a pub-landlord and attempting to pervert the course of justice. The singer didn't attend her husband's hearing.
In an interview in this week's OK! Amy told the magazine: 'He'll be out on the 21st. Please God. He will. And then I can't wait.' She also talked of their hopes of a family: 'Blake is going to be the most amazing dad. When Blake was about we talked about it all the time.' Blake's mother recently said she didn't want her son to go back to Amy for fears they'll both die from drugs.

Peaches Geldof had a suspected overdose, according to The Sun. Ambulance services have confirmed they were called to the singer/socialite's home on Sunday afternoon. A source told The Sun that “Peaches could not breathe for several minutes after suffering a respiratory arrest. Her friend had to give chest pumps and mouth-to-mouth resuscitation." It is thought she could have suffered brain damage or even died if it weren't for the friend's actions. Peaches mother Paula Yates died from a drugs overdose in 2000. Peaches did not go to hospital after the incident but was well enough to attend Monday night's Dark Knight premier.

It's been confirmed (kind of!) - Jennifer Garner and Ben Aflleck are indeed expecting another baby. Although there has been no official word Jennifer's former co-star Victor Garber answered 'yes' when asked by Us magazine if the rumours were true. Another source told the reliable publication that the actress is already five months pregnant. Ben and Jen have been married since 2005 and have a daughter named Violet. They make such a cute, happy family - it's so weird that Ben was once engaged to J.Lo!

Salma Hayek is no longer engaged to her baby daddy. The Latino actress and French billionaire Francois-Henri Pinault had been dating since May 2006, but only acknowledged their relationship in March last year when they announced their engagement and pregnancy. Baby Valentino was born last September but the couple remained low-key. Salma's rep released this statement: "We are sad to announce the engagement of Salma Hayek and Francois-Henri Pinault has been cancelled. There will be no further comment." Sad but not surprising.

Britney Spears and Kevin Federline have agreed a custody arrangement for their two boys, Sean Preston and Jayden. Kevin will keep sole custody and Britney will have visitation rights. The pop-star lost all rights to see her children in January when she was hospitalised. These days Britney is looking much happier, apparently she is even working on a new album...

American tabloid In Touch has been telling porkies. The magazine's latest issue has a story entitled 'Jen's worst nightmare: John betrays her'. The mag claims that John Mayer hit on someone and described his relationship status as 'vague' whilst in Amsterdam last month, but the woman in question says it never happened. In fact she's so annoyed she's considering taking legal action: "None of this is true," Chaton Anderson told Us magazine, "I met John Mayer almost a year ago, I don't understand why they've said it was this year."

Sienna Miller isn't doing much to shed her man-eater reputation. The actress and Balthazar Getty, a married father-of-four, previously denied their relationship but pictures taken of the two spoke louder than words. The pair have been acting like a couple of loved-up teenagers whilst vacationing in Italy. Getty and wife Rosetta have been married since 2000. A friend told People magazine that "It's humiliating. Rosetta left the country to protect the kids, and he continues to see Sienna publicly." It's thought that the affair started before Sienna broke-up with Rhys Ifans.

This week's US Magazine is saying that Jake Gyllenhaal has moved in with Reese Witherspoon: it says the actress has taken 'the next step as she commits to a man who's kind to her kids and gives her the love she deserves.' US is usually pretty accurate with their stories so this may be true...I hope so - they make a great couple!

As mentioned in my last blog Anne Hathaway just broke up with her boyfriend of four-years Raffaello Follieri. Well it seems that the actress ditched him just in time as the shady Italian businessman has been formally arrested and his bail posted at a staggering $21 million! The 29 year-old was arrested early Tuesday morning at his Trump Tower apartment and tested positive for opiates. Raffaello is in some serious trouble: he has been charged with 12 counts of wire fraud conspiracy and money laundering.

Jennifer Garner has hit back at a report her marriage to Ben Affleck is over. America's E! network said that "the reason Jen and Ben are always seen cooing over adorable daughter Violet separately" is because they have split up. Jennifer's rep says that the story is "100% fabricated" with "not one ounce of truth." These two seem like a pretty solid couple to me.

Jessica Simpson was interviewed on The View earlier today and said that she's still with Tony Romo: "We're still together ... we've been together for about seven months — almost eight." But she added "I don't know about wedding bells ... but I'm still with him, so that's a good sign."

Christian Bale has told Parade magazine that Heath Ledger, his co-star in The Dark Knight, was 'a kindered spirit' to him and that he misses the late actor, who died in January after an accidental overdose. Christian said that he hoped the new Batman film will be a celebration of Heath's work and not like 'the hideous circus after he died' which he felt 'was an invasion of a private life.'

Kylie Minogue and Olivier Martinez could be back together, according to the Daily Mail. The pair had lunch with friends and family in Paris, looking very comfortable in each other's company. The former couple sat close together and were laughing and being very touchy feely. Olivier was with Kylie whilst she battled breast cancer but the couple broke up soon after she received the all clear.

And lastly... it appears Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer's relationship is going from strength to strength! The Friends star has flown to England to be with musician John as he does a 10 night tour in Europe. Plus Jen's good friend David Arquette has spoken about the couple saying "they're great". I have a good feeling about these two...

Charlotte Church is having another baby! The singer's website announced the news: "Charlotte Church and Gavin Henson are delighted to announce that they are expecting another baby. The couple are thrilled, as are their immediate families." It's only nine months since Char gave birth to their daughter Ruby.

It seems as though Sienna Miller and Rhys Ifans have indeed ended their year long romance. Although it's been in the rumour mill for a couple of weeks neither has confirmed and Sienna is in this month's ELLE magazine saying how loved up she is... but the usually inseparable pair haven't been seen together and poor Rhys has cut a very sad figure of late. If reports are to be believed Sienna did the dumping over the phone - talk about harsh!

Little Britain's Matt Lucas is getting a divorce - which will be the first celebrity gay divorce since same sex marriages were legalised. Matt and Kevin McGee had a civil partnership only 18-months ago and celebrated with a panto themed party with lots of their celeb pals.

Britney Spears has landed in her hometown of Kentwood, Louisiana, awaiting the immanent birth of her sister's first child. Kid's TV star Jamie Lynn, whose 17, is due to give birth any day and the Spears family are all rallying around.

Anne Hathaway has apparently ditched her longtime boyfriend, Italian businessman, Raffaello Follieri. The couple had been together for four years and in recent months Raffaello's business has been under investigation for missing tax forms. The Devil Wears Prada star has been smiling sweetly down the red carpet this week as she promotes her latest film Get Smart.

And finally... Matthew McConaughey has a sense of humour! The New York Daily News ran a story criticising the actor for leaving his pregnant girlfriend at home to get drunk, saying he "had to be helped out of a Nicaraguan bar the other night after dancing with an assortment of babes" and was seen shouting about his missing flip-flop. So Matthew replied to the report via e-mail saying: "Drunk? Absolutely. Nicaragua is a beautiful place, epic waves, the best surfing I have ever been on. And yes, I'm STILL looking for my left flip-flop. So if anyone finds it floating around down there (it has 6:22 stitched into the side), please send it my way. There is a reward."

Lynne Spears, Britney's mum, is going ahead with a book about raising her famous daughters. A rep from the book's publishing company says it "will get into the dark period of Britney's life — from a mother's eyes". The book is entitled Through the Storm: A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World and will be out in September.

There seems to be a serious feud hotting up between blogger Perez Hilton and Brit singer Lily Allen. It all started when Perez posted a blog yesterday saying "It's hard to stay on top in the music industry. Just ask Lily Allen! She's known these days more fore being a tragic train wreck than a musician." Lily, whose out in L.A working on her new album, responded via her own blog saying "So, I'm a little upset today, Perez Hilton is a mean man. I don't know what I did to piss him off but the last few months he has launched a bit of a tirade against me." Now the two continue to hit back through their blogs....I can see this going on for a while!

Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee are back together! The rocker has confirmed the reunion: “Pamela and the kids have moved in with me. It’s awesome, man. It’s definitely working. You can tell on the kids’ faces — they’re happy when we’re together. We’ve only given it a try 800 times — 801, here we go.” Well, I really hope it works out for them this time.

It's all over for George Clooney and his girlfriend of one year, Sarah Larson. At one point it looked like the world's most famous bachelor was ready to settle down: Sarah was the actor's first ever girlfriend to accompany him to the Oscars this February! But friends of 29 year-old Sarah have confirmed the split and the former cocktail waitress has moved out of George's LA home.

Surprise, surprise Pete and Ashlee Wentz have confirmed they are indeed expecting their first child. The newly married couple announced their news on Pete's website: "While many have speculated about this, we wanted to wait until after the first trimester to officially confirm that we are expecting our first child. This is truly the most joyous time in our lives and we are excited to share the happy news and start our family."

It's fair to say there have been some messy break-ups in celeb history, but Bill Murray's could break records if his wife's divorce papers are anything to go by! Jennifer Butler Murray, Bill's wife of more than 10 years, is not only seeking to dissolve the marriage but also wants a restraining order against her estranged husband. According to court papers Jennifer has blamed Bill's addictions to alcohol, marijuana and sex for the break down of their marriage.

And to round the week up Naomi Campbell has been formerly charged with assaulting a police officer, using threatening behaviour towards cabin crew and disorderly conduct. The incident happened at Heathrow Airport in April when the model threw a wobbler after her luggage went missing. Naomi has been in trouble plenty of times because of her aggressive behaviour, doesn't she learn?

Lindsay Lohan’s ‘close’ relationship with DJ Smantha Ronson has been attracting a lot of attention recently, especially after the pair were seen kissing at last weeks Cannes festival. Now Lindsay’s father has spoken out saying it’s ‘evident to anyone with half a brain’ that the girls are more than just friends…mmm, publicity stunt or true love??? Only time will tell…

Kirsten Dunst has spoken out about why she entered rehab earlier this year. The Spiderman actress has denied reports that she had troubles with drink and drugs but actually needed time out due to depression: "I was struggling, and I had the opportunity to go somewhere and take care of myself," the 26 year-old says, "I was fortunate to have the resources to do it. My friends and family thought it was a good idea, too."

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull has reportedly earned $126m in it’s opening weekend. I saw the film myself and must admit I was disappointed: although Harrison Ford still looks good I felt he’d forgotten Indie’s mannerisms a bit and the producers could have taken more advantage of today’s special effects, but what really ruined the film for me was the aliens! Its still worth a watch but I give it 6/10

Kate Hudson sure doesn’t stay single for long! She’s been seen canoodling with Lance Armstrong, aka Sheryl Crow’s cancer-beating, bike-riding ex-fiance. Over the weekend the new couple made several outings together…Kate’s relationship with Owen Wilson only just ended so hopefully he’s not taking this news too badly.

Brad and Angelina seem serious about basing their family in France, the couple have just bought a chateau in the French Riviera worth a reported £35 million! The Brangelina clan will soon include six children when Angie gives birth to twins in August. But mean while little Shiloh celebrated her second birthday this week, so happy birthday to her!

And finally…Madonna has at last adopted baby David after a Malawi judge made the ruling earlier today. Although David has been living with the Richie’s since 2006 the adoption has only just been made official.

Can any Hollywood marriage survive these days?! The latest couple to split is Liv Tyler and Royston Langdon. The actress and British rocker have been married for five years and have a three-year-old son Milo. The couple released a statement saying they “remain good friends” and “devoted parents” blah blah blah…isn't that what they all say?!

At least long-time couple Jamie and Lousie Redknapp seem to be going strong - the former Eternal singer and her footballer hubby are expecting their second child! This is particularly good news as it took them four years to become pregnant with their three-year-old son Charley.

Jessica Simpson has let slip that she’s going to be her little sister’s maid of honour. Although Ashlee and fiancé Pete Wentz haven’t announced a wedding date its expected to be sooner rather than later as the pregnancy rumours are still going strong!

Paris Hilton and Benji Madden’s relationship seems to be going from strength to strength! The heiress has once again commented on a possible wedding saying: "We want to stay together forever. I wouldn't do a Vegas [wedding]. I don't know where or when but I do want it to be romantic."

Scarlett Johansson’s designer friend has congratulated the actress on her recent engagement - Roland Mouret has said he was so happy when she told him the news and added that "it's something she's really wanted – to meet someone and get married." Scarlett became engaged to Ryan Reynold earlier this week.

And finally, Radio 1 DJ Jo Wiley surprised her listeners by announcing she’s expecting her fourth child. The 42-year-old said it was very happy, unexpected news and joked that Chris Moyles was the father!

Drew Barrymore is apparently engaged go her actor boyfriend Justin long. The couple have been very public with their relationship so who knows, maybe it will be third time lucky for Drew!

There could be another engagement announcement soon - Benji Madden has been telling press that Paris Hilton is 'wife material'. The couple have been dating for two months but Benji said he wouldn't rule out popping the question in the next six months!

And today's other whisper is that Beyonce and Jay-Z are expecting a baby! It's set the Internet buzzing so watch this space, or rather bump, as it's unlikely the private couple will acknowledge the rumours either way...

The Jolie-Pitt family have flown to France where it’s expected that Angelina will give birth. It’s still unconfirmed whether the actress is expecting twins but Brad and Ange will soon have a brood of five or six on their hands!

Jessica Simpson is spilling the beans on her relationship with US footballer Tony Romo. The singer has told Glamour magazine that Romo has made her more confident. "He reintroduced me to myself," she says. "I thought that I had to be deeper, more profound and more artsy. CSI star Gary Dourdan has been arrested on possession of heroin, cocaine, ecstasy and prescribed pills. The 41 year-old actor was found sleeping in his car by a patrol officer in the Palm Springs area of California.

They haven’t said a word about their wedding but the truth is out for Beyonce and Jay-Z. People magazine has exclusively reported that the couple filed their signed wedding license last Friday in New York, which makes them officially Mr & Mrs.

Kanye West is a free man: the rapper was engaged to Alexis Phifer but the couple have broken it off. Alexis, a designer, has spoken about their decision: "It's always sad when things like this end, and we remain friends. I wish him the best in his future and all of his endeavors. He's one of the most talented people I've ever met." The couple had been engaged for 18 months.

Scottish actor Ewan McCregor has announced he’s suffering from skin cancer. The 37-year-old actor recently had a mole removed from his face that turned out to be cancerous. Ewan said he’s fine now but spoke about the dangers of the sun.

And finally… Victoria Beckham sure is confusing: virtually overnight she went from tacky wag to fashion businesswoman, and during the Spice Girls tour she kept it clear she’s not a singer anymore she’s a designer…then I hear Mrs B is going to perform with the Pussycat Dolls! What?! The band’s spokesperson Alisa Boushey said: “Victoria’s been in talks with the Dolls for some time and will be joining them on-stage. Victoria Beckham turned 34 last Thursday and has celebrated an incredible 3 times! Last week Mr and Mrs Becks went to Eva Longoria's LA restaurant Beso accompanied by a select group of A-list friends, the following day the family took a trip to Mexican restaurant chain Pink Taco and last night it was another star studded affair at posh restaurant Via Veneto. Famous couples included Will and Jada Smith, Kate Beckinsale and husband Len Wiseman, Gewn Stefani and Gavin Rossdale, Usher and his wife, Sean Combs and Kim Porter (are they back on?!) and most notably Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes - putting rumours of a rift firmly to a stop.

In other Beckham news David's alleged former mistress Rebecca Loos is set to talk about their relationship on TV talk show 'Generation Sex'...mmm, bet they're well chuffed about that!

Brian McFadden has spoken out against his ex-wife Kerry Katona to the News of the World. The former couple have two children together and Brian said Kerry ‘embrarresses’ him: "She manipulates people and plays the sympathy card for every stupid mistake she makes. She uses my two girls as a weapon in her childish games. She is an embarrassment to me, my family and my children." This is the first time Brian has commented in this way and I have a feeling Kerry won’t be taking it quietly…

A new couple alert is hinting at Ryan Gosling and post-rehab Kirsten Dunst (but he was sooo perfect with Rachel McAdams!) Kirsten was last linked to Razorlight's Jonnny Borrell.

Ryan Phillippe told The Times Magazine about the effect paparazzi have on his daughter: “She's aware and it creates in her a lot of anxiety, which is partly my fault. When Ava was very young, I was young too. I'd get ... visibly angry at the paparazzi back then," he said. "She was my first child, and my instinct was to protect her." He also admitted that he underestimated how hard being in a high-profile relationship would be (Phillippe’s ex-wife is Reese Witherspoon).

Sandra Bullock and her husband Jesse James were involved in a car crash when a drunk driver hit them head on – luckily no one was seriously injured.

It's nice to see Hollywood exes getting along and over the weekend Justin Timberlake supported his former love Cameron Diaz at her father's funeral. Emilio Diaz was only 58 when his dies of pneumonia last week.

And lastnight it was the BAFTA TV awards and Harry Hill won the Entertainment Performance for his show TV Burp, which also won the BAFTA for Entertainment Programme - much deserved I think.

A look at what the magazines are telling us!

Life & Style: it's a pregnancy special with Ashlee Simpson, Angelina Jolie and Jamie Lynn Spears all appearing on the front of this U.S magazine. Apparently friends of Ashlee are shocked that she’s got pregnant before marrying her boyfriend Pete Pentz as she comes from such a religious background. It’s still being reported that Angie is expecting twins, neither her or Brad have commented on the pregnancy and rumours of double-trouble have been circulating for months – I’m thinking this could be true which would bring their brood up to six!

Britain's Grazia magazine is reporting that Jennifer Aniston is to adopt a little boy, it's not the first time this rumour has gone round - but is it true? The Friends actress has previously denied this but now that her friend Sheryl Crow has adopted a baby Jen's eyes may have been opened to motherhood without a father figure.

In Touch Weekly is reporting on the state of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’ marriage: after three years together their relationship is meant to be in trouble, a rumour that has been doing the rounds this week. The couple, or their daughter Suri, haven’t been pictured together for a while, strange as usually they thery are out wining and dining with their A-list buddies.

Also according to the mag Benji Madden intends on settling down and marrying new girlfriend Paris Hilton!

Star Magazine also dedicates their issue to Tom and Kate’s marriage: ‘Trial Separation: The fight for Suri’. According to Star Katie “is trying to break away from her controlled life under the watchful eyes of her husband and move to Manhattan in what will be a sort of trial separation”…mmm, only time will tell.

When a rumour just doesn’t give up, when you can’t avoid seeing it spread further and further, it usually ends up being true. Take the whole Brad and Jen divorce, then Angelina’s two pregnancies, and Ryan and Reese’s break-up…they were all denied but after weeks of media speculation they all ended up being true. The latest rumour going over-drive is that Ashlee Simpson is pregnant - you can’t avoid it! Ashlee just got engaged to her Fall Out Boy boyfriend Pete Wentz and they’re both saying she isn’t pregnant. Mmmm…Watch this space but I’d bet on this one being true!

When Paris Hilton and Benji Madden first came out as a couple - with

matching diamond encrusted initial rings - the world’s press screamed ‘media stunt!’ (after all his twin brother is the partner of her BFF Nicole Richie) but several weeks later they’re still together. This week Paris’ parents have told the world how in love their daughter is. Kathy Hilton said: "He’s changed her life—and I really think she’s genuinely in love for the first time. He’s so good to her and for her. We couldn’t be happier for them. This has honestly become the real thing.”

Earlier in the week I reported that Victoria Beckham’s dVb fashion line is being dropped by many U.S retailers, but Fraser Ross, owner of hip store Kitson, has said he’ll still be stocking the jeans but isn’t impressed with the Spice Girl’s business: "Contrary to reports, we haven't dropped the line but her line hasn't been performing due to her lazy attitude. She lives 15 minutes from the store and it's bad business that she doesn’t come in." So guess what Mrs Beckham did today? That’s right, she got herself down to Kitson!

Gwyneth Paltrow is the latest celebrity to reveal she struggled with post-natal depression. She told May’s issue of Vogue magazine: "I felt really out of my body. I felt really disconnected. I felt really down … I felt pessimistic”. The actress, who is married to Coldplay’s Chris Martin, suffered with the depression after her second child was born in 2006.

Sad news… it has been confirmed that a body found near Paddington Station is that of TV presenter Mark Speight. His body was found in an unused building near platform one and it is believed he took his own life. He had been missing since early last week after the inquest into the death of his fiancé. Speight is best known for presenting children's programme smARTt on CBBC.

2008 has so far been the year of celebrity babies and the weekend added two more to the count as Australian actress Cate Blanchett gave birth to her third son. The baby, who was born in Sydney, has been named Ignatius Martin and is brother to Dashiell John, 5, and Roman Robert, 3.
Closer to home Kerry Katona finally popped out her fourth child after a 60 hour labour! Kerry and husband Mark Croft welcomed their son 5 weeks early but according to MTV, who films the couple’s reality show, the baby is healthy and Kerry returned to her Cheshire home yesterday. The baby has been named Max, after PR guru Max Clifford!

Noel Gallagher has voiced his opinions on Glastonbury’s 2008 line-up: “I'm sorry, but Jay-Z? No chance. Glastonbury has a tradition of guitar music and even when they throw the odd curve ball in on a Sunday night you go 'Kylie Minogue?' I don't know about it. But I'm not having hip hop at Glastonbury. It's wrong.” Jay-Z has been a controversial headliner that’s for sure and this year tickets took a while to sell out – coincidence?

Victoria Beckham’s fashion project isn’t going to plan – she’s being dropped by many top retailers in the U.S! Her dVb denim line just isn’t selling well, not surprising when you look at the £200+ price tag. Kitson, a boutique favoured by many A-listers, has decided to stop stocking the Spice Girl’s jeans, store owner Fraser Ross explains: "we asked her PR people so many times for her to appear but she didn't. Celebrity lines are no different from an album or music tour. They have to be promoted to sell." Posh wasn’t too bothered though as she cheered husband David on at a football match over the weekend. New pal Kate Beckinsale also tagged along…is there anyone in L.A that Victoria hasn’t made friends with?!

After weeks of Britney Spears keeping away from the headlines she’s back in them, and for the wrong reasons. On Saturday Britney was involved in a minor car crash. According to the accident report it seems Spears was to blame: “The collision occurred when the driver of the Mercedes, driving in the #3 lane, in stop and go traffic failed to observe the vehicle directly ahead of her come to a complete stop. She attempted to brake but failed to stop her vehicle prior to colliding into the rear of the Nissan [in front of her].” But the singer was unhurt and later that evening went for dinner with her mother.

It was the London Marathon yesterday and several familiar faces took part. Committed runner Gordon Ramsey, rower James Cracknell and Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden all made the finish line. Kate Lawler, of Big Brother fame, ran the 26 miles dressed in skimpy underwear which can’t have been comfortable!

Kylie Minogue’s hopes of finally cracking America haven’t gone well – the singer’s X album has entered the charts at number 139 after only selling a miserable 5,500 copies. Poor Kylie!

Kerry Katona is still in labour. MTV announced three days ago that the reality star had gone into labour 5 weeks early. Kerry and husband Mark are in hospital waiting for the arrival of their son, but they found time to film a short clip for MTV.co.uk. It must be said that Kerry wasn't looking great!

Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey were in London last night for the premiere of their new film Fool’s Gold. Matthew looked OK, a little boring I think, but I’m really not sure about Kate’s dress…what do you think?

Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem are to be married, according to the National Enquirer anyway. The Spanish actors have been dating since last summer and the tabloid magazine is reporting that they got engaged last month.

Jordan and Peter Andre are planning to record another album together – ‘why?’ I hear you ask. Well apparently the reality couple want to follow up their 2006 record ‘A Whole new World’ with a new extra long album and all the proceeds will be going to charity - ahh, that's nice.

The usually private Natalie Portman was spotted out and about with her new man – singer Devendra Banhart. The couple didn’t hide their relationship and were photographed kissing and cuddling as they walked the streets of New York. Portman was recently in Banhart’s music video for the song Carmensita.

Love could be on the rocks for Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds who were seen having a spat in Boston where Reynolds is filming a romcom with Sandra Bullock. Apparently the couple stormed off when they noticed paparazzi in the area. Reynolds, 32, was rumoured to be keen on marrying the 23 year-old actress, who instead wants to focus on her career.

In the interview the actress talks about her dreams as a child: "I wanted to be a zoologist, to study the sociology of animals. But that’s pretty much what I do now anyway. I thought I’d be on the plains of Africa watching lions, but instead I’m in Hollywood watching train wrecks.” And then she busts out laughing and adds hastily, “I’m just kidding.”
